    Not that "universal"

    Unfortunately, the middle hole is a 1/2" too large and, therefore, the blade is loose--even when the nut is as tight as possible against the supporting washers. Maybe if is was a 'kit' with various washers to fit to any lawn mower I would have been able to use it. As it is, I tried to use it anyway but it didn't work; the blade wouldn't spin because it was not fixed in place due to the extra large middle hole. Other than the fact that it doesn't come close to fitting my older model electric lawnmower, it's your basic blade and seems good for cutting grass.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    Q: What is the diameter of the centre mounting hole?

    • A: Hi! I used a measuring tape and not a calliper but it looks to be exactly 7/8”, or 22mm.  You can put a nickel through it with room to spare.
