Do not purchase a Worx battery powered trimmer. Battery might give you one summer but don't count on it. Mine died after 10 uses. Replaced the battery and it lasted almost till the end of season.

20 minutes max

Lovely lightweight trimmer - something my wife can easily handle, but the battery life is poor she has used it on three occasions and has yet to finish doing the trimming. Tje battery lasts at most a mete 20 minutes

My apologizes on this experience, please be aware that the runtime will vary depending on the task at hand (thickness of the grass, how long the grass is and the pace of the customer). The unit will work much harder under those circumstances(decreasing run time). A small tip we have picked up along the way would be to charge the battery during the winter every 4-6 weeks this avoids the battery sitting dormant and depleting at a higher %. I'm very upset that i paid good money for this trimmer. The battery died after one summer…i maybe used it 10 times. Worx never again.

The worst $90 +tx you'll ever spend

If you're lucky the battery will last a summer, and that's if you're lucky! Forget about the updated version of the battery they're all the same. The fact that Canadian Tire is selling them for almost twice the value does not suprise me. Buy any other trimmer other than WORX brand. A 1 minute google search and you'll see.
