The wood finish gives it a more premium look, and the Vanilla Shore scent is genuinely pleasant soft vanilla with a clean, slightly coastal note instead of the overly sweet smell a lot of vanilla fresheners have. I’ve had it clipped to the visor for about a week, and it still has a strong enough scent to notice every time I get in the car. It doesn’t overpower the cabin, which I actually prefer. You won’t get that heavy “air freshener bomb” effect, but you do get consistent whiffs in the front seat area that make the car smell clean and put together. The main thing to know is that this is more of a subtle scent clip than a full car deodorizer. If you want something that fills the entire vehicle, this probably isn’t the right product. But if you want a nicer-looking freshener that smells good without being overwhelming, this does the job well. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you care about both appearance and scent quality. I’d buy it again for the premium feel and the fact that the fragrance lasts longer than I expected.

Since it’s not very strong it probably won’t cover other odors though. The scent vanilla shore 62 is a beachy scent and it’s held up the last few weeks.

I love the look of it too…not ugly like some of the others. Because the scent isn’t too strong, I worry how long this will be effective.
