    Great patio watering system

We've just installed this product at our cottage to water the plants on our deck and it works great! Installation was easy, but only because my husband understands what needs to be done. More complete instructions would be helpful to the layperson -- for example, to install the emitters, instructions should flag that it is critical to have them facing the correct way. Also, most important, the pieces are appropriately designed for a sturdy, durable fit, but if a person did not know that you should heat the tubing end with a hair dryer or hot water when you install so that the tubing fits onto the other pieces, then you would never get it to fit together! So, great product -- needs better instructions. One last item, problem we had was that 25 ft of tubing in the kit is inadequate and no retailer carries extra tubing. We had to find it a Rainbird supplier, and it was inexpensive but a real inconvenience. Otherwise, there were enough pieces for our project.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Good idea but kit incomplete

I bought this for my rooftop patio. It should have taken no time to install, but I spent an entire afternoon in a futile effor to install the emitters. Finally, ended up poking holes in the hose and leaving it at that. I didn't need to spend this much for that! Don't buy this kit unless you already own the drip emitter intaller!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: will this work with a rain barrel (No water pressure)?

    1 Answer
    • A: Unfortunately the answer is no. Irrigation systems, including “Drip Irrigation” do rely on water pressure to operate.
