Recommend considering alternatives

Purchased to help reduce fruit flies/gnats. Found these traps didn’t catch must. Sticky traps were significantly more effective, especially those that combined a light source to attract flies.

A fruit fly trap that doesn't work.

Useless. Placed in an area crawling with fruit flies, both baited apples trapped exactly one fly.
Back to using cider vinegar and rotten fruit in a Thai Express bowl with holes punched in its lid.

Worked well enough

Give these some time to work. We had a larger than usual infestation. First week, there was nothing. The next week, we caught at least 20 in each trap. Not great for an immediate solution but worked to kill them and cut off the life cycle
