Amazing results- It worked perfectly

I read the reviews and those who said this is useless read the instructions! I used it on my 2010 Dodge Challenger thanks to some inconsiderate douch and the 7 " scratch is gone!! But it works flawlessly up to a stage 2 scratch, for a stage 3 scratch combined with vehicles touchup paint I have not tried it but I can see it working using the supplied sand paper. But this product really does get rid of the light scratches. My Challenger looks good as new again. AA++ product at a great price.

Saved my motor

Last year in my panic to remove hard scum from my new boat motor, I used a worn green pad. The result was a completely scratched and scuffed finish on both sides from the middle to the bottom. After just one application of #1, the scuffing was gone and the finish was brightening up. After the second application of #1 and more hard rubbing all but a few of the deeper scratches remained. With a little more #1 and a lot more rubbing, I removed all the scuffing and all the scratches. Then I applied one application of #2 and the finish was completely restored to the original showroom finish. I would not thought it possible but this product completely restored the finish on my motor. Don't rush and don't be afraid to apply firm pressure. Also, do not judge until you have applied and buffed #2.

I put a four inch scratch into the door frame of my Impreza when I mistakenly forgot that I had a large metal camera tripod strapped to my back when I leaned into the driver's seat. The scratch was deep enough for me to feel with my fingernail, so it was through the clear coat and at least part way through the base coat. It was an obvious white scratch against the dark blue of my car. Even still, I did not need to use the included sand paper. Two or three minutes with the #1 compound, followed by two minutes with the #2 compound, taking my time, and working the length of the scratch, resulted in something that I can barely see, and only because I know where the scratch used to be.
Highly recommended. For very deep scratches, I'd recommend a paint pen (the instructions also say this), just so the two compounds have something to work with.

Q: Does it work on plastic? Does "Quixx Paint Scratch Remover" work on plastic moulding on cars? In particular, plastic parts at the sides of the fender, mirror frames, anything painted in a colour-match to the body of the car (not bumpers or rubber moulding).

Q: Do you need to apply a wax on top of this product?

A: Yes, upon completing the process. Meaning, that you have removed the scratch with step one, and then restored the shine with step two. Once those two steps have been completed, you will simply apply a car wax according to their instructions, and your done.
