Q: What are the voltage settings for bulk, absorption and float charging?

  • A: Bulk - Charge at constant current (not exceeding 110 Amps) until terminal voltage reaches 6.9 to 7.05 Volts. Absorption - Maintain constant voltage of 6.9 to 7.05 Volts. (Do not exceed 24 hours continuously in this stage.) Float - Maintain a consistent voltage of 6.75 Volts. Equalization - Recommended at least once per week. Maintain a constant current of 11 to 18 Amps. Charge until a level or declining voltage is measured, then continue charging at this rate for 2 additional hours. (Never exceed 6 hours continuously in this stage.)

Q: What type of cap do these batteries have...screw in or 1/4 turn bayonet? And what are the charge parameter settings?

  • A: Hello, This battery has screw on caps. The charging parameters for 50 % discharged battery (~6.1 Volts) is 72 mins @ 50 amps | 114 mins @ 30 amps | 155 mins @ 20 amps | 306 mins @ 10 amps.
