Q: my ford user manual says to use dot-3 brake fluid I understand that dot-3 brake fluid is. What is the diffence between "prestone dot-3" and "prestone dot-3 abs" brake fluid? The description only says "formulated for ABS"

A: Both products meet the minimum DOT 3 requirements although the ABS product offers a higher dry ERBP temperature, 252°C minimum, compared to the regular DOT 3 product rate at 205°C minimum.
