Easy and works Great

I've had this for 3 years now and use it at least 2-4 times a year as well as have used it on friends vehicles. It is user friendly; I would consider myself somewhere between beginner and intermediate. I've never had one issue out of it. For the price it's definately worth it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Have them all

I've quite a few buffers over last few years. The mini swirl killer is a great machine but for bigger jobs or full on, paint correction I always go back to my old Porter Cable. I've had that old buffer for 15 plus years, changed the switch and of course backing pads but that buffer has been worked and it still is the best buffer out there. I did buy a Rules Bigfoot and have used it a fair amount but in my opinion nothing works the paint better than the old 7424. Highly, Highly recommend, you can spend more money but don't. All you need is this and a mini swirl killer.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good polisher but...

The polisher itself was excellent for my job which was de oxidation and waxing an RV. But I bought the kit which came with foam attachment and wool pad. The wool pad was worthless without purchasing an additional attachment. The foam pad flew apart before finishing the one side of a 27’ RV. I do recommend the polisher but cannot recommend the attachments that came with it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Worked well until the spindle stripped

The spindle stripped while screwing the pad in about the 5th or 6th time I used this polisher. It stripped way to easy in my opinion.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: RPM? it shows its range in OPM but I would like to know its min/max RPM. Thanks!

1 Answer
  • A: RPM is not quoted as this has a Random Orbiting function, only OPM is the rating. This is because with the OPM rating there is no way to correctly rate RPM due to the fact that it is orbiting & not based on a direct drive. This is the same for Sanders that have the orbiting function, we only quote the OPM, never RPM.
