Q: does this have auto shut off if there is no water?

A: Mine has never gone dry but I don’t think it has an auto shut off. My container is about 50 cm in diameter and if the wind is blowing the water would soon empty if I have it on one of the heads that shoot high. I leave on the simple head and my cat loves to play with the low jet of water!
