worked better than tape (at least for me)

For me, it worked better than Teflon tape for airline fittings. It was difficult to find in the store. It's in a bag and doesn't look like the picture. For an air-compressor airline install almost every one of my Teflon taped joints leaked. I re-built the entire system using this on the threads and was able to get every joint to stop leaking. Suggestion - keep shop rags handy. I found the hole in the end was too big and got better results using a finger as an applicator. Then again, I'm not a plumber and there may be a technique that's less messy.

Stopped my thread leak on my bathroom sink tail-piece. Tube did not come with a brush top applicator as it said it did in the product description. No problem, I used an old toothbrush.
