A: This model does not offer the ability to integrate with factory steering wheel controls. Pioneer does offer a variety of products with the capability to connect to vehicle specific steering wheel interface modules. To guide you in choosing an appropriate model please look for the feature: "wired remote input" which means there is a small plug on the back of the radio (similar to a headphone jack) to plug the module into.

Q: The answer about wattage was hard to follow. 50W x 4, 200 watts, 230 watts, 22x4, 30 watts rear and 26 watts front. What's all that mean? How many characters are allowed in a question?

A: There are a number of power ratings used in automotive electronics each representing different measurement practices. Each is an effort to measure the output under various different conditions, including products connected, and the duration of playback at various output levels. While power ratings are complex the benefit of a complete system package from Pioneer is the confidence that each product has been designed to work properly together. For this complete system package the Car Stereo power ratings are: Maximum Power Output = 50W x4 Continuous Power Output = 22W x4 (50Hz to 15,000 Hz, 5% THD, 4ohm load, both channels driven. Power ratings are also listed for the Car Speakers as an indication of maximum power handling capabilities. 6.5" = 200W 6"x9" = 230W

Q: what sort of speaker wire does this stereo require? i bought this package today and need to get my hands on some more speaker wire. this is so i can wire the system up out side of a car. do you stock the speaker cable in the squamish store. thank alot in advance

A: Most stores have accessories including speaker wire available in the audio section of the stores.

A: The radio is a standard DIN size and will fit with some additional parts available from Scosche in the store to help finish the job. The speakers may need some additional parts or cutting depending on the trim package of the truck.

A: The DXT-2569UI package features a head unit with 50Wx4 output, rear 6"x9" speakers rated to handle a maximum of 230W, and front 6.5" speakers rated to handle a maximum of 200W. Continuous power ratings are 22Wx4 output for the radio, 30W handling for the rear speakers, and 25W handling for the front.

A: The radio will need a dash kit and harness. The front speakers are a direct replacement fit, the rear speakers may require some modification to fit.
