Permatex® Ultra Bond® 495 Instant Adhesive, 28-g

Dries in 10-20 seconds if you apply a liberal amount with a few seconds of working time. Cures with a different brand of instant activator, so that is a good feature. Smells like other super glues, and still bonds skin just as well as any other. Good amount in the bottle and priced right.

I used the 2g size but it's the same super glue gel. I used it to glue stainless steel (a very slippery surface) on a hard plastic surface. Let me tell you, don't plan to remove the parts later on. This thing glues like welding metals! Also careful with plastics because it melts a thin layer at the surface so you don't want to put the gel on a surface not to be glued. It is a really strong bond. As for easy of use, it's confusing how easy is to use. Again, mine was a tiny 2g tube. Very easy to pour on the surfaces, really no need to add a lot, just so it gets a very thin layer (or the extra glue will leak around), better to use less than too much. This gel is really interesting because it doesn't dry when out of the tube, unless being pressed between the two surfaces. In other words, if you leave the tube open the stuff won't dry and became unusable. How cool is that. Not bad on hands either, it will bond the skin but not to the point of having to go to the emergency room. And what I like the most, the tube is easy to reseal, the next time you'll be using it the cap won't be stuck on it.

Used for my shoe to stick a flapping toe sole back. No regrets spending $20 for it. I am not sure if I was able to accomplish the same task if I use the cheaper super glues because some brands I tried didn't work and most of the glues are only for metals, woods, and plastics. I'm just glad it bonded in 1 minute. HIGHLY Recommended. Just a heads up, I didn't find this on the SUPER GLUE section of CT, It is somewhere in the automotive section with the RTV sealants.
