It is blowout resistant and protects against leaks and seepage caused by vibration and thermal expansion. This product is the best I have used on my car for sealing tappet covers or anything else! I have tried them all! Chevy is notorious for leaks but not with this stuff!, Takes high Temps and is ready fast. I wait longer than labkes but have used it both ways. I Wong be using anything else!! About time!:)
