Second set after 6 years with the first.

These tires are manufactured exclusively by Continental for Canadian Tire and these are my second set since 2018. They have DWS and camber/alignment wear technology built into both sides of the treads and 180 degrees apart. DWS stands for Dry/Wet/Snow and the S (snow) will disappear first as they wear meaning be careful in snow, then next the W, and finally the D. The camber/alignment are 3 rectangles next to the DWS again on both the inner and outer sides and 180 degress apart. If the inner or outer rectangles show wear more than the other, well it's time for an alignment/balance check. If you don't want to worry about your car tires for 5-6 years, buy these. Let your mechanic know you have them and let them inspect the wear on your regularly scheduled oil changes and maintenance.

Had to purchase new tires for my 2015 Santa Fe with original tires for a trip to Ft McMurray from Vancouver. Once I left the lower mainland it was winter all the way with cars in the ditch and some serious accident delays. These tires performed well and took me through the Coquahalla with no problems.

A: There are multiple sizes on the BMW X1 including 225/50R18, 225/45R19, and potentially 225/55R17, depending on the year and trim. Some X1 models, like the iX1, may also have 225/55R18 tires. The two 18” sizes are available in the UltimateContact. Refer to your vehicle size to confirm size and advise

Q: No where does it say "Radial" tire and I was told to only buy radials. How do I know these are radials? Continental Ultimate contact all season tire.

A: Hi Kathy, on the sidewall of the tire, close to the rim / wheel, on the UltimateContact it will show the size "225/65R17 102 H" as an example of the tire on the Canadian Tire website, and the following markings " M+S RADIAL TUBELESS STANDARD LOAD" All the UltimateContact Tires are radial tires. I hope this helps.
