This electric pruner has saved time in the intermediate trimming of bushes and trees in my yard. Using a power pruner has made the task almost effortless. If I had a complaint, it would be that pruning is so easy that I now have too many trimmings to pick up and to dispose!

From Blowers, to weed trimmers, to chainsaws, and all my other Worx products, I couldn’t be happier with the quality and performance of their products. Q: Is there an extension pole for the shears? For higher up branches or in my case a ton of vines that have crawled up my 2 story house. If not these what would you recommend for tall vines if not able to use a ladder?

A: Hello there! Thank you for your inquiry. The WG330 pruning shears do not have a compatible extension pole and are designed strictly for close, hand‑held pruning. They work well for small branches and vines within arm’s reach but are not intended for overhead cutting or elevated use. For tall vines, especially those growing up a two‑story house where using a ladder is not ideal, a pole‑style tool is the better option. A cordless pole saw such as the WORX WG349 is well suited for thicker, woody vines and provides a total reach of up to 13 feet, allowing cutting from the ground. If the vines are lighter, thinner, or more vine‑like rather than woody, a pole hedge trimmer such as the WORX WG252 is a good alternative, offering up to 12 feet of extended reach and better control for trimming long, tangled growth along walls or siding. Q: Will they ever have a pole for this, I have the 5in. pruner but way to dangers trimming around wires and hard to control at the end of the pole. This would be much safer and lighter to maneuver and would cut thin branches easily.

A: Hi Moe! The manual for the WG330 states that the blades should be sharpened when they become dull. The length of time to cut a 3/4" branch would depend on the type of wood. Soft wood will go quickly and hard wood will take a bit longer.
