Detail K2 Rampage II Snow Plow, 82-in x 19-in

I have had this for about 5 or 6 years. It does a good job and is built for residential people to plow their long driveways. I do not think this was designed for people who make money plowing. Items I have replaced over the years have been the two red poles and the nylon strap that goes on the winch. To keep the sun from drying out the red poles I have learned to remove them in the spring. To preserve the nylon strap whenever I raise the plow and I hear the winch struggle, meaning the strap is now very tight, I back it off and relieve any stress. If I had done these two simple steps from day one I might still have my original parts. The rubber at the top of the plow is showing some dry rot and I could probably preserve that with some vaseline but I haven't. I did have to modify, for my own sanity, the two, aluminum?, clips that hold the plow to the cross bar on my truck. The opening on those two clips is just too snug. I can see how someone inside at a computer thought it was fine but enter snow and ice and you can just forget about taking your snow plow off of your truck. Does that make it more risky that the plow can fall off? Maybe, but it hasn't happened to me. DK should fix that.

In the description it said that a custom mount will be needed to attach the snow plow to your vehicle but nowhere that i could find did it say how much it costs I found the kit number for my vehicle but nowhere that I could see to purchase it

Let me say first off the the quality of the blade and frames are excellent. Directions aren't the best. Actually they stink. So to not have problems build the blade first and then mount the A frame and build up from there. Otherwise it is awkward and heavy to try and line it up an pin it to the plow. Youtube is your friend when you need help. The videos by the company don't even begin to cover all the things you will run into including bolts that are to short. The worst part is the strap for the winch. Be prepared to replace it all the time. And it is a pain to get the end of the strap through the slot on the spindle. There are no directions as to how to do it besides removing the bolt that holds it in. The strap rubs against the slot and even dull scissors will cut through something eventually. I used this plow twice and the strap broke. I am still trying to get the strap in while snowed in with over 20 inches of snow. UGH!

Bought this before the snow started fortunately because it took a while to assemble. Directions definitely left me scratching my head for a bit but I managed to get her up and running. I Love the plow honestly. I have a small driveway and it’s perfect on my 94 Toyota pickup. It does not like heavy snow as stated in the manual. As long as I can Stay on top of it , it works great. No complaints hope she holds up for a long time to come!
