The Birchwood Casey Super Blue Liquid Gun is a blueing solution specifically crafted for polished steel and hardened steels with nickel and chrome alloys (excluding stainless). Excellent product - be sure to spread till dry with gloves hand

Excellent. NOTE: to get an even not blotchy finish you MUST spread with a vinyl (or rubber) gloved finger until dry. DO NOT let it sit on the metal in streaks or it will streak. Also be sure all grease is removed by cleaning thoroughly with rubbing alcohol. I recommend boiling water first as the hot metal will aid with drying.
