Cannot replace bulb

Learned we had to throw away *the entire lamp* when the bulb stopped working. You cannot simply replace the bulb. Seriously, it's 2023. How can Ott design their products in such an environmentally irresponsible way? I cannot buy or recommend their products in good faith anymore. Very disappointing since it worked well when it worked.

Other than the cord, it's wonderful

Great light. Thought it was a rechargeable, and it isn't, so that isn't as convenient and the cord is very thin and not very flexible - actually looks like a really old style cord with a converter box. That said, everything else is great. The color temps are why I bought the lamp, and they are wonderful. Can't tell the difference from real sunlight when I turn it on next to my window during the day, and the night time light is warm enough to be great to use during the evening. Also nice to have a middle option when you don't want one of the extremes. The lamp turns on and off easily, though you do have to apply some pressure with the whole tip of your finger. Sometimes I have to try twice to get the right angle, particularly if I'm standing or the lamp is at an awkward angle in relation to where I'm sitting, but I'll get the hang of it soon and then it will be second nature. The three intensities make the color changes even more useful. The lowest setting of the warmest, for instance, is perfect for getting ready for bed, while the higher settings would be good for reading at night.
