The Worx Nitro 40V LEAFJET Leaf Blower is what innovative engineering in battery-powered leaf blowers looks like. Despite its compact design, it’s a 620 CFM blower. Works very well with attachments!!

It works pretty well as a trimmer, but most of the time us my WG162.9 for trimming. What I really like is how it performs with the Ryobi tiller attachment! I did do a little modification be cutting off 5/8 of inch tubbing of the Ryobi and had to move the lock spring button down because of that. This allowed more drive cable to be accessed becuase it seemed to be just a little short before the mod. Just used a small pop rivet to hold the spring lock back in. Removed the stim out of pop rivet and smashed it down with some small needle nose vice grips. This worx works great with that tiller head,,, lots of power. I did put the handle that came with the Ryobi head on because of how heavy duty that attachment is. Going to do the same thing with the Ryobi Snow Thrower when I buy that next fall. I do enjoy my worx products!

First Use of Nitro Grass Trimmer

The machine has adequate power. Weight and balance are acceptable. The head angle is such that a tall person like me (193cm) has to bend over a bit to get the right cutting angle. I would be nice if the batteries had more capacity, esp. since the batteries have to cool before they can be recharged. If Canadian Tire could offer batteries as a sale item sometime, that would be good!

The evolution of battery power!

That attachment options are amazing. I sold my gas powered edger as the power from the batteries was better. Having one main tool with options like edging, grass trimming, to brush trimming has reduced the number of separate tools and clutter I had in my garage. I have been a WORX user for 10 plus years and they keep improving on what can be done by battery power. Thank you from this happy, dedicated customer!!

I found this tool to be an Incredible value. It was easy to work with, tough and well priced. Extremely powerful and useful with the multi attachments. It cut my yard maintenance time to 1/3 of what it was. Cuts any size weeds and brush with 1/2" diameter no problem. Thanks again WORX. I recently built a tiny home using your tools and they are still going strong! Save big $ with interchangeable batteries :)

I’m extremely impressed with this string trimmer! It honeslty performs just like a gas powered trimmer, but without the noise, fumes, or the hassle of purchasing fuel. The battery life is outstanding. I haven’t had to worry about running out of power. The eco mode is a great feature too, allowing me to extend battery life when full power isn’t necessary. What really sets it apart is the Driveshare system. Swapping attachments is quick and effortless, making it incredibly versatile for yard work. Whether trimming, edging, or using other compatible tools, it handles each task smoothly. Overall, this is a powerful, convenient, and well-designed tool. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high performance cordless trimmer.

A: I bought the replacement line at Lowe’s and asked the tool manager to show me how to wind it correctly because it doesn’t advance the line when bumped. I used it again after he replaced the line. It still does not advance when bumped. Why aren’t there any instructions on this in the information packet sent with the tool?

This is for customers that are already within the WORX Battery Platform (i.e. lawnmower, drill, leaf blower, hedge trimmer, etc) and are looking to purchase another tool without spending the money for yet another battery and charger. If you would like to purchase the model that comes with the batteries and charger, it is model number WG186. A: Good Afternoon, the WA0014 spools will only fit grass trimmers WG168, WG184, WG190, and WG191. The dual feed spool is for our corded electric trimmers only. All other trimmers will use the WA0010 Spools for Life.
