So far I have only assembled the 6 chairs and they are beautiful. That said, if you don't like doing assembly you may find that it takes a bit of time. My rating currently is only 4 stars because of what I will refer to as design or hardware flaws. I loved that each chair had its own set of screws/bolts etc which made keeping track of part counts easy. The issue is with the actual bolts themselves. Each bolt, for no explainable reason, has a "shoulder" on the head that prevents flush installation. That issue becomes a problem when doing the foot rest on to the legs. In plain english...the screws are TOO SHORT. After assembling all six, we had friends come over to do a show and tell, and when sitting on the chairs, the short screws "popped out" on several of them. The people on the chairs felt bad as they thought they had "broken" our new chairs, which they had not. There is just not enough thread and length on screws to hold and the washer is not the lock kind. I was very disappointed as was my wife. Fortunately, I resolved the issue by purchasing some longer screws with the same thread count and some lock washers which solved the issue. Not an expensive fix but one that should not have been necessary. I have included photos of before and after.
