Haven't worn them yet, so can't comment on effectiveness. But they fit my short and fat hands and will fit underneath my heavier gloves that aren't waterproof and aren't enough for cold weather on a bicycle.

The seams come apart really easily leaving holes in the gloves. I exchange for a new pair and the 2nd pair did exactly the same thing.
