Matrix 4000 Foldable Table Tennis/Ping Pong Table with Net & Built-In Storage

As a former professional table tennis player and now a coach working with beginner-level kids, I purchased this table for my home basement setup. Before buying, I had the chance to see and test the same table at someone else’s place, which helped with the decision. One thing to note—delivery can be a challenge. The store did not offer home delivery, so we rented a medium truck to pick it up. The packaging was excellent, and the staff helped load it, but the table is extremely heavy. Unloading at home was difficult; we had to unpack it inside the truck and carry each half separately. Moving it into the basement was another challenge, and extra care was needed to avoid damaging the playing surface. There was a small scratch near the net edge out of the box, but it hasn’t affected play. Assembly was straightforward. The instructions were clear, and all required tools were included. However, the net post system could be improved—it’s hard to get the net perfectly tight. That said, it has been sufficient for training beginners and helping kids develop solid fundamentals. After about 8 months of use, I’m now working with my students at an intermediate level on the same table. While it’s not comparable to a professional 25mm table, it performs well for its category. The bounce is consistent, and the speed is decent, which is important for skill development. Folding and storing the table halves is also easy. A couple of downsides: the corners are quite sharp, which can be a safety concern for kids. I’m considering adding some protective padding. Also, it would have been more convenient if the table were packaged as two separate halves for easier handling. Maintenance is simple—just wipe the surface with a damp cloth to keep it clean. Overall, considering the price, this table offers excellent value. Even if it lasted only three years, it would still be worth it. Given that it’s already holding up well after 8 months, I expect it to last much longer with proper care. Final verdict: 5 stars for value and performance in its price range.

We just bought it and when we open it, it was damage on the edges on each side of the table i think it was factory damage and got only 60 dollars rebate
