Q: Can this be used in a plaster ceiling, and would I drill directly without the anchor?

1 Answer

A: Yes, you can use this elephant hook in a plaster ceiling. You do however; need to use the Anchor. The Anchor, gives more support to the item you are hanging. If at all possible try to locate a stud in the ceiling as well so that the weight of the item does not cause a larger hole in the ceiling by pulling down the plaster. If you locate a stud, then the hook can hold a heavier item without doing damage. Make sure you completely read and understand the instructions on the back of the package of this hook. I sincerely hope this helps you.....Jo-Anne
