Q: Can I seed immediately after using this product?

  • A: I see no reason why not, however, what I would do is buy the seed, mulch & fertilizer together & use that to seed or re-seed your lawn.

Q: Instructions on the the nitroGrow 30-0-12 bag indicates it should only be applied once per season however in the video titled "How to Choose Golfgreen Lawn Fertilizer" it implies it should be applied every 4 to 6 weeks. Please clear up the confusion.

  • A: The instructions state “starting in early spring, apply Golfgreen NitroGrow …”. The next line states “Apply at the recommended rate as part of a complete fertilization program” The above two instructions should both be followed. The fertilizer should be apply in early spring and then again every 4 to 6 weeks throughout the season until fall. In the fall Golfgreen fall fertilizer should be used in late September or early October.

  • A: All Golfgreen Grass Seed products are considered 'Apply & Play' products. This simply means that it's best to keep other people, children and pets off of the area while you are applying it to a dry lawn. Be sure to achieve the recommended coverage, and always apply it with a spreader. Once applied it will be completely safe for all to return to the area. That being said, it is recommended to keep traffic on any new grass/seedlings to a minimum to allow them a chance to germinate and maximize your results.
