These containers are excellent so I purchased several. They are well made, several sizes in the set are perfect. I really like them. The only problem I have is when I order from Canadian Tire I no longer get the email when ready for pickup. I used to get it but for the past year I do not get it so makes picking up items more difficult. If you could fix this I would order more from you.

A: The lids screw on. They look like metal, but are actually plastic. I bought one set and am buying three more. Great value.

A: The glass containers are dishwasher safe. I wash the lids by hand.

Q: Has anyone used these as cannisters for coffee, tea, sugar? Would they work for this or just dry pasta, etc.?

A: They are very airtight so they would in fact work for tea coffee etc..I however stuck to the pasta use!
