This compost bin is great in most respects...the lid fits well, easy to clean, and the charcoal filter works well to eliminate any odors. My reason for four stars and not five is the size. It is a few litres shy of the kitchen bins issued to house-holders "back in the day". (I was aware of this according to the description)

It’s a steel bin, with charcoal filter, does what it should. The lid fits excellent, not tight or loose. Read reviews with bottoms having holes, bad smells etc…..not sure what people are doing to damage the product and if you empty it daily with a quick rinse it will never smell. It’s a metal compost bin and works as it should.
