I bought two. They do basically what they're meant to do: store food in the kitchen, but the first thing before using it, any storage container gets cleaned properly. I put them in the dishwasher. Glass is fine. The plastic liner/seals inside the (surprisingly flimsy) metal lids curled up and fell out of the lids. The metal of the lids is very thin- weaker than even Mason jar lids. I threw the seals out and made it work, but I'm surprised at how poor the whole lid/seal part of these jars is.

The cap doesn't close firmly, causing leakage . . . it also show signs of rust. I guess it is better for dry products compared to wet ones...
