A Rocky Rock Bottom

Before using the pan I set it on the stove to test the flatness of the pan bottom. It was not flat, it was actually rocking, so returned the pan to the store and upgraded to the Rock Pro which has a heavier and true flat bottom. I would not recommend buying this model of pan.

A: I would suggest you call your Canadian Tire and discuss the subject with someone there, who can give you accurate answers. I have 3 different sizes of those pans. Love them.

A: Not by name, but otherwise yes, the same stuff: PTFE. The most well-known brand name of PTFE coating is Teflon. This pan uses a PTFE coating, just not made by the Teflon company.

Warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 3 years, starting from the date of the original purchase. Q: Does the handle get hot to touch? I can't see anywhere that says the handle stays cool when using it on a stovetop.

A: Good day, If the size of the burner is smaller or the same size than the pot or pan, handles will remain cool. If burner is bigger than pot or pan, than the handle(s) will be exposed directly to heat and could become hot too.
