No vent holes for steam.

One major design flaw with this popper is that there are no steam vent holes in the lid. Without the steam being able to vent the popcorn ends up tough and small. I drilled several holes in the lid and that made a huge difference. The popcorn turned out fluffy and tender.

It not as big as my old one. Not all the popcorn pop's had to turn it on again microwave again and burnt some of the popcorn. In all it will work when I want popcorn again.

A: Hello, when using the Nordicware Quick Pop Single Serve Popcorn Popper, you may add oil after your corn has popped. Cooking with oil or butter during popping phase is not advised, as damage to popper may result. -Kind Regards, Nordic Ware Customer Experience Team
