This is the most honest review you will see here. Unbiased, unfiltered…unhinged. Anyway, table looks great! Problem is, the top is made of real wood with laminate. It weighs over 100lbs, 2nd the legs are roughly 2-3 lbs each, and as you can see in the picture, and with minimal engineering knowledge, that this table sucks, it rocks back and forth like Nicklebacks photograph song, seriously, you tap it on the short side and just goes like 10 times couple inches both ways. I thought maybe I didn’t secure the legs or lateral brace, I cranked down on those screws till they turned red. Still it was rockin like a hurricane. It obviously needs cross bracing from table bottom to legs for ridgidity, (back to the drawing board canvas, C/T) You know what the worst feeling in the first world is? Having to pack up and return a 900$ table, spend time in a line and trying to explain everything, plus did I mention the thing in box weighs like 170lbs. Customer service is great though! Got my refund and went on my way to find something better. SERIOUSLY though!! DO NOT sell this thing please, it will tip and collapse with enough weight on top and an accidental bump on the side, just imagine, kids, or legs underneath. Other wise would have been great table

Canadian Tire hasn't delivered it yet

I still haven't received it yet even though it's been a week since I ordered it. The website said it would be here in two days. I'm told it'll be at least 4 more. CT was no help, just told me they contracted delivery out (that's not on the website). It's less than 50 km away so you'd think it would be an easy thing. Too bad I don't have a truck.

A: Hi Eric, Thank you for your question. Yes, the Belwood Dining Chairs (#088-0541) can fit at the end of the table. This table can sit 6-8 people comfortably. 3 chairs can fit down each side with 2 chairs at the ends. I hope this helps!

Q: could we bore an umbrella hole into it slightly off center so it would go beside the supporting beam underneath and fit into a base?? We would insert a protective metal insert where it goes into the table top.

A: Hi LV116, We do not recommend creating your own umbrella hole. It can ruin the structural integrity of the table and it also voids the warranty. We would recommend purchasing an offset umbrella which are available at Canadian Tire.

Q: How weather-safe is the tabletop? The user manual recommends using a furniture cover when not in use. That's OK for off-season storage, but not for day-to-day use in season. Can the table be left uncovered throughout the summer without problem?
