Weak hook, lid fell, paint chipped, first use OUCH

Good quality look and reputation. I just think by now you can make a more efficient hook or other easy mechanism for the lid to hang without changing the price. On my first use the lid fell down by a curious observer and got a scratch on the paint, it chipped the paint. It hurts. Everything else is well.

Charged 1.5x the amount - PLEASE READ

These grills are not made the way they use to be. Be careful not to spend too much either. They charged me an extra 47% of the total amount in a separate transaction to “confirm the funds were there”. So I had two separate transactions for one purchase. One transaction in the full amount and the other transaction at 47% of the full amount. Basically make sure you have 1.5x the amount you are going to spend and be prepared to wait for the “confirmation” transaction money to be released back to you. What a shame!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Why does CTC have photos shown for this product that are not accurate…very disappointing.

  • A: You are correct, the images are not accurate. The images are a Weber 22 Premium model. However the product sold is a Weber 22 Master-Touch. It comes as shown on the Weber website with the upgrades and accessories. I can confirm as I bought one early this summer.
