For entertainment only. Register’s everything, but nothing useful. Bought to locate survey pins. Would not locate a sample pin laying on the ground. Wouldn’t register a trenching bucket, but registered a limestone rock under an inch of loose dirt.

A: No it will not find placer gold or silver. Placer gold and silver is to small to be detected by this and probably all commercial grade medal detectors.

Q: I lost keys in the snow in a field the other day, how can I fine-tune it just to search for keys

A: While you aren't going to be able to set the Disc22 to only detect the keys, but the below settings and tip would get you as close as possible. Set the discrimination to reject all the way up to S-CAP then go back and notch in 5Cent/PT. Most keys are brass or silver nickel, these settings should allow detection of those common key metals, yet still knockout many unwanted metals like iron and aluminum. Keep in mind that not all unwanted metals (silver, gold and copper) will be removed from detection. Listen and watch for shallow or strong targets as the keys should not have gone deep into the soil like older targets and normally key(s) and key ring are normally larger than most commonly lost/buried objects like coins, rings, buttons or zipper pulls.

A: il les détectes mais quand détecté y a t'il un endroit qui flash démontrant que c'est de l'or qui à été détecter plutot que de l'argent sur le cadran je vois iron pt 5 pt s cap zinc etc lequel signale or ou argent es ce pt pour un gros et pt 5 quand il est plus petit ou le signal sous 10 cent pour un petit et 1$ pour un plus gros qui occasionne de chercher de l'or et tomber sur des pièces de monnaie ?

A: i would say yes the outer shell is plastic but certianly it has metal in it ive dug staples at 4" so id definitely say yes it will find it

A: yes it does in a round about way some of the id's are coin like 1c would be copper what it does is measures conductivity so items with the same conductivity will id the same but its usually fairly accurate

A: u can search underwater with the coil but not the control box. i wouldn't go wading any deeper than a few feet with it if u fall down ur machine will be toast but yes most of the detector is waterproof
