This thing floats over the snow. I had approx 100lbs of gear in the sled and it was almost effortless to pull behind me. Highly recommend over the smaller size. The extra runners on the bottom made a huge difference. I imagine they will also prevent wear on the sled body when the snow begins to melt and I need to drag I over some gravel.

Heavy Duty Sled

Bought this to tow behind my atv in the snowy months for general work around my property. Got the steel tow bar to go along with it. The sled itself is about as heavy duty as you can probably get with a plastic polymer and the attached runners make it glide with very little friction. Great sled.

Q: Do you carry replacement runners? I purchased my sled last year and it is holding up great, but the runners will reach the end of their useful life shortly. Pelican shows a kit on their website, but no mention on where to get it, or how much.

Q: Snow Trek 75 Cover Does Canadian Tire carry the cover for this unit? I purchased the sleigh and the hitch but was told they don't carry cover. Doesn't seem to make sense to do that.

Q: With the runners factory installed is the sled watertight?

A: They are not using any silicone when installing the runners and therefore the sleds won’t be water tight. The consumer could take out the screws and re-install them using marine silicone. That could work to get the sled water tight.
