    Since posting my negative review, the manufacturer did offer meaningful assistance if I produce the purchase receipt which I'm looking for now. That's not an unreasonable request from them.

    Expensive Brick!

    I bought this 14 months ago, used it 6 times, and this past weekend, took it fishing only to find the widely reported “blue screen of death”. I have tried every possible solution provided by the manufacturer but it is a defunct unit. The manufacturer’s response is basically, “gee, too bad you bought it 14 months ago because the warranty is 12 months”. Evidently, this manufacturer doesn’t expect their product to last longer than 12 months, so you shouldn’t expect any more either. $420 plus tax is a lot of money for 6 uses.

    No, I do not recommend this product.
