Got different type

Took back before even using it said it was for both kerosine and diesel fuel, but recommended kerosene. more said if you use diesel fuel, you would need to do more maintenance on it plus had to take it apart to adjust it for pressure wasn’t impressed with that part so I took it back. got a propane one.

Nope, don't do it

this was not set up correctly. had to adjust pressure using set screw. no where does it diagram or tell you where the screw is. when you find it, you have to obtain at least a 10 inch long flat head screw driver to reach it. you cannot see it it is inside machine you have to go by feel. there is no pressure gauge so you have to turn screw small amounts at as time waiting for it to light. when it lights, flame extends out the front. instructions require reducing pressure to cure this. after you do, if you turn off device it will not relite do to low pressure and you have to redo the entire exercise again. I contacted customer service who were somewhat helpful, telling me how to locate adjustment screw, but said pressure changes by temperature, elevation and barometric pressure as well . I just wanted a heater to plug in and fire up to heat garage so I could work .
Next, I bought this as it had a battery option incase of power outage or to use in places without electricity. well I can't get battery to attach. customer service said there should be a packet of blades included so I could change the fitting to accept Dewalt batteries. No blades were included.
Also I was informed while it will operate on Disel, Kerosene s the preferred fuel. At 20 litres a tank I suggest you look at the price of filtered kerosene before making your decision
Very frustrating I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy .

- Translate with GoogleA: Selon moi, cet appareil fonctionne très bien avec du kérosène, diesel régulier ou premium (disponible dans certains garages) mazout à fournaise #1 et #2 et au diesel agricole. Un de mes beaux frères a déjà utilisé souvent du diesel agricole dans un appareil semblable. Selon le produit utilisé, la senteur varie ainsi que les émanations de CO2. - A: I had that last weekend - it doesn’t seem to want to fire up when it’s really cold, which is less than ideal for a heater. I warmed it up with a space heater for a little while and then it started. Put a rag under the front because mine dripped raw fuel out until it got really warm.2 years agoHelpful?
