This shelf was poorly made. The bottom feet parts needed some electric tape to keep them in the plastic pipes or they fell out. The top caps are too big so I just left them off altogether. I put self tapping screws into the plastic pipes to keep the shelves together. 2 plastic pieces that are supposed to help keep the shelf stable are far to long to be effective. I wouldn't buy this again.

Q: I believe you have the weights wrong in the description. 220 lb does not = 454 kg. That should be the other way around. OR if 220 lb is correct the conversion to kg would make it 100kg.

- A: You can make it any height you want. I actually bought 2 and made one extra tall and one 2 tiers tall. The extra tall definitely had to be attached to the wall with the braces supplied to stabilize it for safety purposes.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: black resin shelving racks - are those Mastercraft blue resin (buy separately) shelf hooks necessary? We're buying a few of the units and wonder if we should add those hooks for extra stability ~ many thanks ahead of your answer!
