Purchased as a last minute Christmas present to ours elves. Ordered online, picked up next day without any issues. Amazed at how well it was packed. Instructions were great, very easy to put together for 2 people. Would definitely be tricky for one person. Construction is sturdy and much better than I expected. Easy to operate, pushes out some good heat! Timer feature is handy to have, lots of storage, overall a very nice unit

Beautiful fireplace, looks great. However it makes a knocking sound when running. Bought brand new from CT. Also came with a couple chips/scratches on it.

Just set mine up. Actually pretty easy to put together. Easy to understand instructions. Great quality hardware. Didn't even curse engineers once during set up. Remote takes a bit to understand all the functions, but not frustrating. Looks great and is solid and doors glide easily.

Q: How do I use this without the heater option? I don't see this in the manual. Thanks :)

  • A: Couldn't find it in the manual either, so we just use it with temperature on lowest setting with beautiful colourful flames. There is other means of heat in the room so fireplace heater won't start on lowest setting. Hope this is of some help.

  • A: Very minimal. The flame is just for show. It doesn't put out any more heat than a candle. It looks nice, but if you're looking for supplemental heat for a room, maybe look elsewhere.

Q: Right out of the box I'm getting "E0" code and beeps 3 times and shuts off. Anyone deal with this situation?

  • A: There is a sensor that beeps when the fireplace is on and the doors are in front of it. It’s to avoid a fire. If the doors are closed on both sides and there is nothing obstructing the fireplace your sensor might be off.

Q: Is the amount of heat output adjustable, like low/med/high or does it go full heat to a specific temperature?

  • A: Yes the temperature does adjust.  It starts at 60F and goes up to 86F. It pumps good heat and gives our living room a warm cozy feel.

Q: I bought this about a month ago and about two weeks ago it started making an intermittent grinding noise from the firebox. Is this normal.

  • A: I have the same TV stand/fireplace and love it. Had it for over a year. At times, mine makes a buzzing sound when the firebox is touching the wood surrounding it at the front, and the noise stops when I push the firebox back a little in the space. Try that.
