Rubber bumper does not hold in threshold well. Would gladly pay more for somethimg built better and not so cheap.

Needs a small improvement o/w very good

This is almost a direct replacement for the threshold in my house (built in the 1960s). As the door is 32 inches wide I had to cut 4 inches off one end. This eliminates one of four screw holes leaving a large gap on one side. If an extra screw hole were incorporated to handle the narrower door I would give it 5 out of five stars.

Q: How high is the threshold

A: The threshold is 18mm (¾ inch) high and 37mm (1+7/16 inches) from front to back.

Q: how does it install? I have about a 1/2' gap at the bottom and bottom side of my storm door from it being bent by the wind last year and need to find a tidy way of stopping the draft and keeping bugs out. would this work?

A: It would work as long as the depth of it is high enough to come up beyond the bottom of your screen door, if it is not, you could put a 1/4 in. piece of wood strapping underneath and then fasten it to that. You may need longer srews than the ones that come with it.. Hope this helps.
