Peerless 18" white towel bar (BAS18-WH)

May 2026: I recently purchased this 18" white towel bar (BAS18-WH). It is well encapsulated in packing which doesn't allow close inspection. It is metal, which is good. I feel that there's room on the back to provide pictorial installation instructions - a deficiency. I had to look installation up on the internet & didn't find this particular bar. My main objection to this bar is that it is installed with four screws (with marettes) that are obvious once mounted. A high quality towel bar would be designed such that the screws would not be visible. Back to the packaging: it was not possible to tell that the screws would be visible. Over time, I suspect that these screws will rust, and look "cheap", especially as the bar is installed in a high humidity area (the bathroom). I have installed it, with reservations, as I have not been able to find a white 18" towel bar in my searches for one. It was relatively inexpensive, but I would have paid more for what I actually wanted.

No, I do not recommend this product.
