Q: will this gasket stand up to high heat using for exhaust on itv

A: I think it can. Are used it as a carburetter intake gasket. Since my Weedwhacker is so old that they do not make the gasket any longer. I cut it out by hand. And the Weedwhacker not starts first time every time.
