The Champion Power Equipment 100166 1-Inch Gas-Powered Water Transfer Pump with Hose Kit comes with everything you need to start pumping (just add oil and gas). Your complete hose kit includes a 16-foot intake hose, a 26-foot discharge hose, an intake strainer, straight and 90° hose connectors and hose clamps. All you need to do is add oil and gas to get your pump up and running. Whether you are draining or refilling your swimming pool or hot tub, removing water from your basement or draining shallow flooded areas, this unit features a self-priming design that holds prime even when it’s not running (requires initial priming to operate). Powered by Champion’s reliable 31cc single-cylinder OHV engine, this lightweight and portable transfer pump has a maximum delivery volume of 30 gallons per minute. With a 1-inch inlet and 1-inch outlet, this unit has a total head of 95 feet and a suction head of 16 feet. Q: What thread is on the pump outlet/inlet? I tried 1 1/4” pipe but won’t go on. Broke the plastic pieces. Looking for replacement options

Q: can I use this pump to water my lawn at the cottage by drawing from the lake?

Q: Saw complaints of fitting sizes, is there a way to connect the output in some fashion to a garden hose?
3 years agoA: You can do it with the right adapters. Something like this: PVC Garden Hose Adapter (1" NPT x 3/4" GHT) For Rain Barrel, Water Tank, and Aquarium

Q: I would like to use this pump to fill a 1000L tote at ny cottage with water from the lake. It would have approximately 4ft of elevation and my cottage is approximately 200ft from the lake. Would it be able to pump that far ?
3 years agoA: I believe the height of lift is well within the spec. I use the pump for flooding an ice rink using a firehouse and there is plenty of pressure and flow. For the price this pump was great but adapting the fittings was the challenge for me.

Q: Can this pump be used to flush and clean a tankless water heater? Or can you suggest something else less expensive?
3 years agoA: There should be no issues using this to pull out water from a tank water heater. Just make sure the suction hose head is properly submerged and there is no thick debris in it. Thank you.
