A: From my experience these attachments fit a variety of power heads. I've bought several different brands and they all fit my old Craftsman power unit and all were the same diameter so I'm guessing your Stihl will be the same.

Q: Does this work with echo sem 225?

A: If your trimmer is a strait shaft with standard interchangeable attachments then it should work. I originally bought it to use with a Husqvarna trimmer and it worked great. I now have a Ryobi 40V battery trimmer and it works great on it as well. There is a standard for these attachments, but you should confirm that yours support the standard.

A: Yes it is. I have the same Husqvarna ld and it works great. One of the best attachments I have purchase. Lots of power in the Husqvarna to power it though most soils including clay.
