Be Extra Careful When Selecting Your Trimmer

EGO sells too many different products with various retailers. I thought I had purchased the trimmer with IQ, but after using it found out it only had t he power load feature. So it pretty much works like every other trimmer I've ever owned and am stuck with my poor ability to figure out the myriad of EGO SKUs.

Great trimmer

Once I got it figured out it was great. Initially I had the string get way to short (user error) and I had to remove the spool. Re-strung it and it work flawlessly. I have not used a trimmer without a cord in a while, it was liberating.

Great tool! It replaced a DeWalt string trimmer which sadly had a lot of issues, mainly surrounding the string head always sucking in the line forcing many disassembles. It's power was nothing like the Ego, which is grey.
