J’ai acheté ce produit le mois dernier et j’en suis satisfait. Par contre, il y a des points à améliorer, 1)la rotation de la goulotte est trop difficile à faire pivoter. 2) lorsqu’il qu’il faut souffler le remblais de la charrue il faut absolument passer en mode turbo pour éviter que la souffleuse passe en mode protection, le dispositif de sécurité est trop sensible.

So fun to start and handle

Our Sears 2 stage, 28 inch gas powered blower with separate power drives for each wheel was just too much machine for me. It was time to downsize a little but keep the power we were used to. The start is a dream! It will power drive (move) without starting the machine. This is nice for positioning the blower before starting it up. As advertised, EGO can discharge the snow very far when it is fresh, dry snow. The first day it recharged both batteries in about 2 1/4 hours. The next day the snow had refilled in and was packed down (firm). The machine plugged up and shut down twice. The blower setting was medium, the chute flap tilted slightly downward. I moved up to turbo power discharge and tilted the chute flap up, then it kept working. I recommend this snow blower, and I'm ready for next winter!

Auger doesn't power on

Power button on machine doesn't work so it's useless. Very expensive to only work for 3 winters

A: I have a Hyundai Santafe SUV, I was not able to put the snowblower in the back without removing the package box from it, It will fit without the box just the snowblower and the tools only.

Q: how is the 2405 for maneuverability in tight spaces, as does not have trigger controlled steering. Also can the 7.5Ah batteries be interchanged for 10Ah batteries?

A: I have no issue maneuvering it around my flower beds that curve adjacent to my sidewalk or around cars in the laneway. The 12Ah battery fits just fine and runs along side a 7.5ah or technically by itself. (12Ah batteries are expensive, I will eventually get another) I don't think the 10Ah ones are available anymore.

Q: Can I vary the throwing distance? I have some areas where there isn't much room to throw. Wanting to know if I can decrease it to a shorter throwing distance when needed.

A: Hi there, Ruggy! Great question. We do not recommend that the Snow Blower be used on graveled surface unless the snow blower is adjusted for such a surface in accordance with the operator’s manual. You can reference the proper adjustments on page 30 of the Snow Blowers owners manual. Thank you!
