We've had limited snow, but it handles six inches no problem and seems to have good battery life and climbs well. You don't need to run it at full power - if you just use enough to put the snow off to the side and not blow it 30 feet, it really increases duration between recharges.

Don’t buy for big driveway

I do not recommend buying this snow blower if your driveway holds more than 3–4 cars. You will face constant issues with overheating and extremely fast battery drain, forcing you to finish the job with a shovel. A major downside is the lack of fast charging after the batteries finally cool down, making it hard to get back to clearing snow. So, I will emphasize once again: only buy this snow blower for small areas.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Using a single battery or clearing heavy snow too aggressively can trigger the thermal protection system, and very cold batteries may heat up rapidly under heavy discharge. We recommend storing your batteries in temperatures between 50°F and 80°F, clearing any packed snow or ice buildup before removal, and slowing your pace if overload or overheating occurs.   • A: I have a Hyundai Santafe SUV, I was not able to put the snowblower in the back without removing the package box from it, It will fit without the box just the snowblower and the tools only.

Q: how is the 2405 for maneuverability in tight spaces, as does not have trigger controlled steering. Also can the 7.5Ah batteries be interchanged for 10Ah batteries?

  • A: I have no issue maneuvering it around my flower beds that curve adjacent to my sidewalk or around cars in the laneway. The 12Ah battery fits just fine and runs along side a 7.5ah or technically by itself. (12Ah batteries are expensive, I will eventually get another) I don't think the 10Ah ones are available anymore.

Q: Can I vary the throwing distance? I have some areas where there isn't much room to throw. Wanting to know if I can decrease it to a shorter throwing distance when needed.
