A Monster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using my Canadian Tire Tecumseh 8-26 for 40 yrs and breaking a bevel gear because the shear bolts didn’t break I shopped for a new blower since new parts were not available for mine. I wanted another 8-26 but the only model left was a 10-30 which was more than I wanted to spend. This 10-30 is huge compared to my side by side 8-26 photos. I have a triple wide driveway and can blow the snow in no time compared to my 8-26. It even throws the snow farther which I enjoy watching. Having independent steering is great that makes it easier to turn. The only complaint I have is with the rubber fill cap on the gearbox. It should be taller so you can grab it to pull up because needle nose pliers are useless. I ended up using 2 spoons, one for each side to pull up. I wasted more than 30 min on the stupid design because the top of the plug is so short. In the future it would be smart to thread the hole for a threaded plug. But in the mean time I think a better designed rubber plug needs to be sent out to all the owners. It’s just ridiculous. Besides that, I have no complaints so far.
