Driveshaft disconnected after one storm and required warranty service. Only found this out when I went to use it during our heaviest snow this year.

Good, but...

Definitely throws snow well, but one-hand operation failed after one hour. Right side tire was flat out of the box and will not hold air. This machine replaced a Toro PowerMax 1028. Wish I still had it.

Reliable, love the chute, but I would buy the 824

Been using Toro Snow Blowers for 36 years. This is my second purchase, they last a long time. The only negative comment is I wanted the 824 but there were none to be found and of course I had to replace it because my 30 year old one finally died right when we got a Nor-easter. The smaller engine is good, but does struggle with 20 inches of heavy snow.
