I expected better from Miracle gro

The soil works as advertized and the plants grow well the issue I have is the amount of sticks ( yes wooden sticks average size like match sticks) From 1/2 of one bag I filled a tin pie plate almost level. I did not think I was their lasst step in quality controll "screening"

Q: What are the little translucent gold balls in the potting mix? They appear to be filled with water when you squish them.

A: We do not use the John Innes grading system for out potting mixes. Miracle-Gro All Purpose Potting Mix is formulated from one or more of the following: processed forest products, peat, coir, and/or compost), and sphagnum peat moss, perlite, fertilizer and a wetting agent.
