The reel itself broke after a few months of use. Had to hand crank it in which is extremely annoying and difficult to do. Then the hose exploded a few months after. Save your money. Don’t buy.

Light duty use

It works well if you are not a heavy user. Mine started to leak inside the drum, at the O ring. Even after replacing the O ring, it started to leak again shortly afterwards. It is good for light, ‘once in a while users’.

Weak spring and recoil mechanism

Recoil spring is weak and didn't last very long. The springs failed causing the recoil lock to break. Returned to Canadian tire without any problem.

A: I cant even get mine to Retract in even when I try to reset it. I also don't like the fact that its not cold weather rated ( only minus 5).
