13 years ago- A: if you want a clean hassle free weld use gas, even if you use flux core wire it will help to make your weld smooth and spatter free, the answer of "it is powered by electricity " is not an answer, gas will shield the arc from oxygen and the better the shielding the better the weld. i have been welding for 17 years i know what im doing.12 years agoHelpful?

3 years ago- A: No, there's no flux cored aluminum welding wire so this machine wont work. You'll need a mig welder with gas. If you're just doing a small job you could likely use those aluminum brazing rods.3 years agoHelpful?
